What does Italy have to offer the traveler?
So many reasons to explore Italy. But, where to start? Pasta, vineyards, top museums, espresso, ancient ruins, glorious seascapes, etc., etc., etc.
There is a reason Italy is often at the top of many travel vacation bucket lists. It offers the finest of experiences for the tourist – and, that goes for whatever kind of tourist you are or want to be. Here’s a quick overview of why you should travel Italy.
So, why explore Italy anyway?
The culture is fascinating as it seems to be overflowing with amazingness. You see the traditions of long ago as well as a very modern scene. To see both, side by side is fascinating and beautiful.
If you only needed one good reason to visit Italy, the food itself could be that stand-alone reason! Delizioso Tiramisu, a perfect espresso, the tastiest pizza, leggy wine, fresh seafood, the best Pasta all’Arrabbiata…need I go on?
Italy has some of the most famous museums. Such a variety of paintings, sculptures, mosaics, frescoes, artifacts, and so on. So many masterpieces to be seen.
Italy is also a fantastic place to shop. If that’s your thing. A beautiful painting from an artist at a street market. Lavish glassware in Venice. High fashion wear in Milan. Something cool from a small boutique in Rome. Not to mention the leather, limoncello, wine, as well as the many souvenir trinkets to memorialize your trip.
Italy is a good starting point for a new traveler. It is very tourist-friendly. It’s definitely a place I would put on a first-time Europe trip.
It has amazing cities full of things to do and keep you busy. For a more slow-paced experience, it has smaller just as pretty towns.
Italy definitely has something for everyone.
