If you’re traveling to Albania, Ksamil offers a great spot for beaches. In my opinion, Ksamil and Himara are the two easiest and prettiest spots to visit by public transport or traveling without a car in Albania.
Ksamil has perfect sandy beaches, with shallow pleasant water that can be enjoyed by all. You will find a lot of beaches offering beach beds and umbrellas, for a fee of course.
Although a small town, restaurants and places to eat in Ksamil are great. You will find mostly Albanian cuisine as well as Greek and Italian cuisine. And, since it’s located on the sea, you will have a variety of seafood offered.
It’s a small town, but you will have a quieter side of town, and the other boasting more to offer when it comes to nightlife.
Ksamil’s location being close to Saranda, Albania as well from Saranda there is a ferry from Corfu, so getting to Ksamil can be fairly easy to reach.
Bear in mind, when visiting any beach destination in peak summer months, bring higher costs and more people. This holds true in Albania, especially Ksamil.
