Himara, Albania – located in southern Albania along what is known as the Albanian Riviera.  It is the perfect spot to relax away several days, spent on the beach.  It is a small town, which makes it quite easy to get around on foot.  This is especially the case if you plan to spend your time laying in the sun (or under an umbrella at least) next to the sea.

Below you will see a brief photo story of what Himara is like.  Just to give you a taste of the beauty of Himara.  I spent most of my time soaking up the sun on the beach only leaving to caffeinate, eat and sleep (which can also be done on the beach). 

Himara is a beautiful little spot.  If you want pure relaxation and refreshment in a picturesque town on the beach, this is one of those locations that are perfect for that.  There is the ease of getting around the town and of course, it always helps when the people are so friendly and helpful! That combined with the true beauty of the Albanian riviera, what could be better! Oh, to be there again!
