There are lots of tasty places to check out in Kotor, Montenegro.
Must try foodie stuff: Fresh Adriatic seafood, as its on the Bay. Ćevapi, it’s a common grilled minced sausage you’ll find throughout the Balkans. One of my favorite dishes. It’s served typically with flatbread, onions and kaymak. Nikšićko is a Montenegro beer, the dark one is wonderful.
The Nitrox Pub + Eatery – craft beer selection which isn’t always easy to find in the area.

Not only is it a pretty little spot, it’s a nice location to break up a bus trip coming/going through Croatia, Bosnia or Albania and so on.
I did this a few times. The Kotor Main Bus Station is about 10 minutes (possibly less) on foot from the center of the Old Town.
It’s an affordable option whether you stay an afternoon or a few nights.
