Native Odyssey is a slow solo female travel blog focused on unrushed city experiences, café culture, and thoughtful itineraries across Europe and beyond.
This space is for independent travelers who prefer wandering to rushing, atmosphere to checklists, and depth over volume.
If you travel for the experience and atmosphere, you’ll feel at home here. Native Odyssey is for the quietly curious traveler who enjoys people watching, discovering local coffee shops, browsing bookstores, listening to live music, and returning to a place more than once.
Here you’ll find:
• Practical city guides and solo travel itineraries • Café and food discoveries • Art, bookstores, and cultural corners • Slow travel reflections • Photo journals from places I’ve wandered
A Little About Me…
I’m originally from Washington State and have been living in Europe since 2011. Travel has become part of the rhythm of my life: save, travel, repeat.
I prefer traveling solo. It gives me space to observe, to wander, and to move at my own pace. That said, I also value shared trips and the occasional reunion abroad.
When I research a destination, I look for cafés, bookstores, art spaces, live music, and places where I can linger. I don’t rush through cities. I assume I’ll return one day.
I’m rarely without a camera. Photography is how I slow down and pay attention.
